Tracking the tough concept

Now we are on third day of our series. This was even a  big problem of mine too. Till now we have stopped all the delays which were coming to us due to others, now it’s time to be more intense and more deep.
We are studying with more and more deep concentration , but still we face many problems like tough concept ..not easy to grasp. Now the real thunder comes in our way, why so ??
Because now we tend to lose believe in our own self, whenever we are struck with some difficult topic ,,we rather choose to run away or even find other ways .for example flipping between  subjects more than occasionally . this creates a trauma because we cant focus on anything ..
When we do one subject , we are forced to think about the another subject. Just because we have not done our first subject in the best way ..we cant do the best for another subject in the tension of the first one .And this is the main thing that we just get in the real trap of our thoughts and ideas .we need someone to guide us , to know us more and more deeply …..bt ya this doesn’t happen …everyone is busy with their own life problems …so need to take a big step  for ourself by our own .
Plan fully ------ you must know what you really want to read, this will create a guideline of your whole action towards studies. Untill and unless you don’t  know about, what to read , you cant decide how to read that. And that’s the main reason that you can hold a book for 2 hours but really read nothing.
Analysis------- analyze each and everything …no matter how little or how far u can go for analyze. Let your creativity flow like a river. For example if tax is complicated , you can easily make an analysis that  tax paper always have the minimum theory of 46 marks which can go for maximum 56 marks. So even if you are strong at theory, you will easily achieve you aim of 40. But the condition is ,you must be perfect.
Perfect notes -------- as I had given a big priority over notes, how much they are helpful when they are made by us., it helps in a big way
Read it whole -------- until n unless you don’t read the whole concept, u can’t force yourself to learn it by heart .So first just read it. The main mistake is here that we never read fully. Just like we always take decisions before knowing each and every aspect.
Know yourself ----- this is the main gist of the problem .., how to understand and go through toughness of concepts. Give yourself a try with your whole attitude.just because he /she has said it tough ,,doesn’t mean that it tough.  Collect the best notes ,which you can understand. For example .. Everyone will prefer law from munish  bhandari , but I found g.sekhar best for studying law. So you must know your level to be the best .
Mild step ----- just go one by one . take only baby steps . AS because you cant run until and unless u cant walk properly. So find the relatively easy things in your way, in your topics . then check yourself ?
Are you doing good ??

Challenge---- after completing your easy things now its time to challenge ourself Count all tough things in your way , mark them , think over the new ways . Consult with the one who can solve it. Know the level of toughness , you need to solve. Because you can’t dive into an ocean until u don’t know the deepness of the same. Check your own level, U can reach . Reach upto that point. Then go more and more …remember I said its time to be more intense and deep.

 My conclusion line ..
Sometime words are hard to find , I am looking for that perfect line …
When you want it , when you need it , you”ll always have the best of me .

Here am enclosing my strategy for module 11 for those who are employed or who dont have sufficient time to study for exams. I cleared both my groups in same and first attempt.. I will categorise my view as General tips to follow in all exams and specific tip to clear each one.
General Tips
1. 50% of ur job done when u buy a super scanner for each subject. For those who dono what is superscanner it contains solved answers for last 10 or odd attempts (including old inter and present executive).Best is suchita prakash.
2. Sit in the exam for full 3 hrs even if u dono most of the answers. Mostly ppl do get lost from exam hall soon when they go blank abt question paper. It shud be avoided for sure.
3. Attend all the questions even if you dono. No Negative markings or impressions. If ur answer is not fully relevant atleast ensure that some 2,3 points are relevant. But even if u donno 2,3 points also write atleast something u know correlating with the question which is asked.
4. Attend even the choice questions if u r not comfortable with the prev. answers u wrote.
5. Try to remember the terminologies used in the subject and in each chapters. It will create an impression that u knew the content.

EXAM, STUDIES AND MOTIVATION

Hello Friends, After a long wait I am here with this article which basically concentrates on Exam, Studies and Motivation.
Every one of us knows the importance of exams in our life. Even “life is itself a exam” so the first lesson to clear exams is teaches by your life to you i.e. I (Exams) am not forever like life which is also limited. First and foremost thing in exam is to get to know the incentives which you will get if you get well in exams and got passed or got a rank. I am sure it will boost your motivation and give you additional energy to prepare well for exams.

You know what I use to do during exams or whener I felt demotivated.. I use to think of the impact CA degree will gonna have in future life because I know when I will become CA, I will get very good package, company and obviously happiness of my friends and relatives specially from my loving father and mother who has lot of expectation from me. You try it yourself and you will realize how important this though process is.

There is neither success forever nor failure. We react toward rewards and away from non rewarding ones. If you are "lacking in motivation," or, more correctly, low in motivation, it means that you have not reacted enough toward the rewarding side of study or away from the fear of failure in a way that brings out your best self.

How can high motivation be created?
The causes of high motivation seem to occur throughout an individual's lifetime. The one can be motivated by “
ü      Remain Positive in his/her thoughts
ü      Make every thought serve you and move you forward
ü      Remind yourself that You have to do it and you can do it
ü      Choose a leader and follow him/her because leader may help you show a better way to get success

Where does it (Motivation) come from?
To achieve great success in your life, you must always stay motivated and keep motivated all the time. It is hard for you to achieve what you want if you cannot stay motivated. So moticvation comes from your inner self and no one can motivate you more than what you can motivate yourself. So be ready to accept the change and challenges in life. Few point which shows the sources from which motivation can come:
ü      Talk to yourself continuously and ask how far you have been successful in achieving your targets
ü      Look for the good in every situation
ü      Always seek the valuable lesson in every setback or difficulty
ü      Look for the solution to every problem i.e. don’t leave the problems untouched

How does it apply to studying and taking exams?
If you can decide yourself the outcome of whatever you are studying it will be easier for you to study. The pleasure of winning, of showing someone you could do it, if you can direct this thought toward reading books then it can be a good help in making the study time most effective.

At the start of the year line up your work on a schedule of day-to-day routine. If you stick to the routine for several weeks, you may be able to experiment a little and relax the routine. But to start with no routine and then try to organize produces hardship. Much damage may be done by then.

“If you think positively, good things will come to you”

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

It really matters ....

Every one enters the job market to find the very right job! Most of them are well qualified and experienced. Yes, most of them possess the right skills too. Still a large population fail to find the right job matching their qualification and skill sets.
Why?
Recall your last shopping experience.  You buy anything only when you feel that the product is worth the price. Let us analyze your normal purchase decision in a Q&A format.
How do you know that the product is worth the price?
You assess the usefulness, features, effectiveness, suitability  etc. of the product and compare the price of similar products in the market.
Who tells and convince you that this specific product is superior, worth and apt for your purpose ?
The salesman or the shop keeper.
Why the salesman takes pain to convince you ?
He wants to sell his product.
Similarly , when you enter the job market the prospective employer is coming for a shopping. He is coming to acquire the right talent. Here also, the employer assess you on certain parameters before taking a hiring decision. He looks whether you are useful, effective and suitable for his organisation. He will also see what value addition that you can offer to his organisation.
If he is convinced, no doubt , he will hire you. Let us analyses this situation.
Who is going to convince him that you are the best ?
Here is no salesman to support you. You are the product and salesman. You have to market yourself. If you succeed in that you will get the right job and the right compensation.
What is the pre - requisite for this marketing effort ?
Like every marketing effort you must be able to communicate effectively. For that you have to use both written and oral communication.
What is the use of written communication here ?
Written communication is very similar to a product brochure. Yes , you are going to use an effective professional curriculum vitae , which is your product brochure.
What is the use of oral communication here ?
An interview is an inevitable phase in every hiring process. This is the time for face to face interaction. You have to convince the employer that you are worth and suitable for his organisation. After the face to face interaction he must feel that you are the candidate he was looking for. Here , you are using oral communication to market you.
Hope you got the significance of communication in landing the right job. Think about the pathetic situation of a job seeker, having enough qualification, experience etc. lack in communication skills.
Let us move further ! Just ask a question yourself.
Do I possess proper communication skills to impress my prospective employer ?
If your answer is negative ; NO NEED TO WORRY.
Boldly accept it. Then understand , you have attained certain academic and professional qualifications. So, there is no need to doubt your ability and competence. Recollect, that long way from your kindergarten days to this moment. During the first day in kindergarten, you were knowing nothing. But today, you know a lot of big things. It is a proof that you are competent and you can learn anything and  acquire any skill , if you have a burning desire in your mind.
Take a committed resolution that I WILL BE AN EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATOR WITHIN MONTHS. I'm sure that you will.
You may be wondering why I  have that much confidence on you.
I belong to an ordinary middle class family. I'm a first generation professional.  I had my schooling in an ordinary Malayalam medium school in my village. I have made a sincere effort to overcome my limitations in communication. My effort was a  success  and I am still trying to polish my communication skills.
I have successfully adopted certain techniques to improve my communication skills. Definitely, I wish to share them with you in the later parts of this write up.
expect updates !

THINGS TO DO DURING EXAMS TIMING

Getting a good night’s sleep before an exam is excellent preparation for the day ahead, so we have compiled some tried and trusted “Do’s and Don’ts”.  The relaxation exercise works for adults too!
GOOD THINGS TO DO
  • Have a warm milky drink or herbal tea before bed.
  • Have a warm, fragrant bath before bed (not a hot one, see below)
  • Browse through a magazine or read a chapter of a (non school) book before putting out the light.
  • Listen to some relaxing music
  • Practise a simple relaxation exercise (see below)
THINGS TO AVOID
  • AVOID the temptation to stay up late studying so that you are over-tired, as your memory cannot retain things when your brain is exhausted.
  • AVOID stimulants such as tea, coffee or cola drinks for at least four hours before going to bed.
  • AVOID having a hot bath before you go to bed, as it is very stimulating.
  • AVOID watching anything too exciting on TV before you go to bed, as it is difficult to then unwind.
How to Relax
a)   When you are anxious or stressed you tend to worry a lot and things go round and round in your head, which is a waste of energy. Worrying about a problem solves nothing!
b)  The opposite of being stressed and anxious is to be relaxed and calm.
c)    Practising a simple relaxation exercise before you go to sleep can help you to wind down and to get things into perspective.

BEAT THE EXAM STRESS

  1. Improve conceptual clarity, avoid rote learning – You would be a more confident person while facing the exam if you are thorough with the concepts.  However, if your conceptual base is weak and you resort to rote learning, it would build up stress since you are not sure whether you would be able to grasp the essence of the question paper.
  2. Plan your study, avoid last-minute preparation  -  Plan your studies in advance.  Make a detailed time table and try as much as possible to adhere to it.  Procrastination always tends to build up stress. Remember, if you fail to  plan, you plan to fail.
  3. Take short breaks while studying -  Do not study continuously for long hours at a stretch since you may not be able to entirely assimilate what you have studied after a point of time.  This is due to fatigue which sets in after a certain point of time, indicating that this is the time to break.
  4. Don’t lose out on your sleep – Do not stretch your study time by cutting short your night sleep.  It is very important that you have a good night sleep for at least 6 hours so that you get rejuvenated in the morning for the next day’s preparation.
  5. Think positive – Avoid any sort of negative thoughts of not performing well in the examination since this may affect your preparation as well as your performance in the examination.  Thinking positive will definitely help you to adopt the right approach towards examination.  When your mind is at peace, without any anxiety, you would be in a position to perform better.
  6. Meditate and Exercise – Relax by practising deep breathing, meditation and yoga. Physical and Mental exercises will help to reduce stress.
  7. Eat healthy – You must stay healthy by eating good food and avoiding junk.  Do not skip meals for the sake of saving time for studying.  It is essential that you do not fall sick at the time of examination.
