TRAINING – APPRENTICESHIP OR MANAGEMENT ????

TRAINING – APPRENTICESHIP OR MANAGEMENT ????
TODAY I WOULD LIKE TO EXPRESS MY VIEWS ON THE DISCUSSION

WHETHER ONE SHOULD GO FOR APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING OR MANAGEMENT TRAINING

What is APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING ???
As per Apprenticeship Act 1961 = Definition of Apprenticeship

4[(aaa) "apprenticeship training" means a course of  training  in any  industry  or  establishment  undergone  in  pursuance  of  a contract  of  apprenticeship  and  under  prescribed  terms   and conditions  which  may  be  different for different categories of apprentices;]
it all depends how you want to move ahead in future - 1) if you are planning to go for practise - either you can go for

THAT WAS THE DEFINITION PART - IN SIMPLE WORDS - IT IS BASICALLY TRAINING UNDER PRACTISING CS

What is MANAGEMENT TRAINING ???
Definition of Management training - A young member of staff being trained to be a manager

The definition itself says that - MANAGEMENT TRAINING is undertaken by a Company, as the one who works as PRACTISING CS he/she himself/ herself is the owner / ceo and manager of the company.

So the basic concept which CS students must know is that -
Training under Practising CS is APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING
Training undertaken in a Co. is MANAGEMENT TRAINING

Now, the million dollar question comes here-
Whether to want to opt for Apprenticeship Training or Management training ?????

IT SOLELY DEPENDS ON CANDIDATE TO CANDIDATE - HOW THEY ARE PLANNING TO GO AHEAD IN FUTURE
Whether they want their career as a Full time CS in a company or whether they want to Practise

As per our knowledge and whatever experience we got from our Professors and from EDP Programme conducted by ICSI - CCGRT - Belapure - We would like to give justice to this topic.

In future if one of you wants to take full time job and want to become Manager or Director of some company then you should go for Management Training, it all depends on how you want to move ahead in future. If at all you want to go for Practise and if you dont have any Network, nor you have any idea how to move ahead - Then follow certain tips

IMPORTANT TIPS FOR BUILDING NETWORKS AND INCREASING YOUR REPUTATION -
1) First of all when you join some company try to maintain maximum contacts and try to establish good network around you, it will help you to get good client as the thing is you dont have any background so its must to grow network and to maintain good contacts with the people inside and outside the organisation.

2) If you dont want to go for Apprenticeship and you are very much keen to work and to get experience, regarding CORPORATE WORLD - then you should follow the first point which is most important.

3) Try to make good reputation and name in the particular industry wherever you are and just dont stick to one industry, always keep hunting for new areas, it will give you more knowledge.

4) VERY IMP -
DONT WORK IN ONE COMPANY FOR MUCH LONGER TIME SO THAT YOU BECOME BACKBONE OF THAT COMPANY (IF YOU WANT TO GO FOR PRACTISE IN FUTURE) it will be very difficult for you and for company also to leave you, so keep on changing and the main motto of change is to increase networking and to increase knowledge.

These are the some points for building network, in case if you want to persue your career in future as PRACTISING CS .

SECOND PART OF MY TOPIC
MANAGEMENT TRAINING -
If somebody want to settle in company and in future wants to become Director or Manager of some company - following points must be taken care of :
1) FIRST OF ALL - STICK TO THE PARTICULAR COMPANY IN WHICHEVER FIELD YOU ARE - that will increase you reputation, as you work more in one company, your chances of Promotion is very much high, in all respects in respect of Remmuneration, in respect of your post from CS to Director or Manager etc.

2) Wherever filed or industry or sector you will go - just keep in mind COMPANIES ACT - is our bread and butter, but just dont stick to Co. Law only - always try to hunt for other areas as well which are very popular nowadays some are - SEBI, INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS, MERGERS AND AMALGAMATION ETC. ETC.and the important thing whichever sector you go, alongwith companies act you have to concentrate on which sector you are
For example - if You join some INSURANCE COMPANY - then along with Co. Act you should be well worsed regarding all the ACTs connected to Insurance industry which may be IRDA - Insurance Regulatory and development authority or all the relevant Acts which are connected with Insurance industry, you must know all such acts.
The benefit which you get from this is - there are chances of early promotion and there are chances of your good reputation as per your knowledge, so always try to look for a broader picture, try to find out new things in whatever way you perform your task, main motto should be - DO IT LIKE OTHERS DID IT BUT TRY TO DO IT AS NOBODY HAD DONE IT BEFORE

There are many areas where CS can get expertise, just look and research and move ahead.

Mind you, you are in such a good profession where deserves wordings of ICSI -
FROM STUDENT TO CORPORATE EXPERT - It provides all information, just you have to grab it and bright future is awaiting for you -

WITH THE ABOVE CRITERIAS STUDENTS CAN THINK IN WHAT WAY THEY WANT TO MOVE AHEAD IN FUTURE.

IT WAS JUST A LITTLE APPROACH TOWARDS SOLVING THIS IMP. ISSUE AND WE KNOW THIS IS NOT SUFFICIENT, THERE MAY BE LOTS OF DOUBTS IN THE MINDS OF STUDENTS - JUST PUT UP YOUR DOUBTS AND WE WILL DEFINITELY TRY TO SORT OUT AS PER OUR KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING AND THAT WILL DEFINITELY HELP YOU ALL -

OUR MOTTO - GIVE MORE AND MORE & MAKE OUR PROFESSION PERFECT- CS ROCKSSSSSS
PERFECT PRACTISE MAKES MAN PERFECT -

All the above are our personal views, views can be different, but different views, always clear the concepts,  LET IT BE WEIRD ALSO - BUT PLEASE DO COMMENT AND ASK YOU MAXIMUM DOUBTS OVER HERE - WE ARE HERE TO SOLVE YOUR QUERIES ONLY - SO FEEEEL FREEEEE - DONT HESITATE IF YOU ASK SOME FUNNY THINGS NOBODY WILL SAY YOU ANYTHING - IF AT ALL SOMEBODY COMMENT ON YOUR QUESTION WE WILL SEE TO IT - IT WILL NOT BE POSTED HERE - SO FEEL FREE

Students are requested to please comment, if they have some OPINIONS, SUGGESTIONS, AND ALSO SOME POINTS WHERE WE CAN IMPROVE OUR THIS GROUP - CS - KINDLY LET US KNOW

Thanks and Regards,
